Tucson maintenance plans, one weekday per neighborhood

Your street has a service day.

A route-day visit

What happens on your day

Three things, in this order, every year.

  • 01

    The evening before

We text you the evening before with an arrival window. If the day no longer works, answer the text and we move you to the next open one.

  • 02

    The visit

Luciano or Regina cleans and tests the system against a written list: filter, coil, drain, electrical parts, thermostat and the ducts we can reach.

  • 03

    The report

You get a written report: what we checked, what we found and what we would fix first. Repairs are quoted before any work starts.

Two people, five days

A short route is the whole idea.

We take on only as many homes per weekday as two people can visit without rushing. When a day is full, you go on the list for the next opening instead of getting squeezed in.

  • One technician, one truck, one weekday per neighborhood

  • Your day stays the same year after year unless you ask to move

  • Members' repair calls go to the next open route day

  • A full day means a waiting list, not a rushed visit

The plans

Two plans, billed once a year

Billed once a year. Parts and repairs are quoted separately, before any work starts.

  • Cooling plan

One spring visit for ducted air or a heat pump.

    • One visit, in spring
    • 12-point cooling check and cleaning
    • Written report you keep
    • Booked on your street's route day
    • Repair calls booked ahead of non-members
  • Year-round plan

    Covers heating too

A spring cooling visit and a fall heating check.

    • Two visits, spring and fall
    • 12-point cooling check and cleaning
    • Heating check in fall
    • Written report you keep
    • Booked on your street's route day
    • Repair calls booked ahead of non-members

A plan is a service agreement, not insurance. It is billed once a year. To cancel, call or text before your renewal date; we text a reminder two weeks ahead.

A year on your day

When we come, and what you do

  1. January – March

Step 1: Book your spring slot

We confirm your day and pick a week. Tell us whether you have ducted air, a heat pump or an evaporative cooler.

  2. April – June

Step 2: Spring visit, before the heat

The cooling check lands on your street's day. Evaporative coolers get their start-up this month, quoted separately.

  3. July – September

Step 3: Monsoon season: repairs first

Members' repair calls go to the next open route day. Humid monsoon air makes evaporative coolers work less well, and we will say so before we sell you a fix.

  4. October – December

Step 4: Fall visit and shut-down

Year-round members get the heating check. Evaporative coolers are drained and covered.

What members say about their day

“I used to remember the tune-up in July. Now the text comes Sunday night and Luciano is here Monday morning.”

Eleanor H.Sam Hughes, Mondays

“The report listed what was fine as well as what was not. One capacitor needed replacing, and the quote came before anyone touched it.”

Malcolm L.Flowing Wells, Tuesdays

“When my mother called about the cooler, Regina answered in Spanish and explained the pads. That mattered to her.”

Questions about route days

How do I find out my street's day?

Send your neighborhood or street through the form, or text it to (520) 555-0101. We write back with your day, or tell you it is full and put you on the list.

What if my day is full?

Each weekday holds only as many homes as two people can visit without rushing. If yours is full, you go on the list for the next opening and we tell you roughly where you stand. We do not squeeze you in.

What does a plan cost, and what is not in it?

Each plan is billed once a year, and the price is written in your plan agreement. Neither pays for parts or repairs, and neither is insurance. You can cancel before the renewal date.

What if my system quits on a weekend?

We work Monday to Friday and do not staff nights or weekends. Call or text and we will tell you the next weekday we can be there; members' repair calls go first. If anyone in the home is at risk from the heat, call 911 or get somewhere cool.

Do you service evaporative coolers?

Yes: pads, pump and water line, at start-up in spring and shut-down in fall. It is quoted separately and is not part of either plan.
